Like it’s someone’s heart

Frog brooch from Venice, the best gift I received in my adult life. Unfortunately I lost it and never thought I would see it again. Days ago I checked my Flickr account after being blind to its existence for many years and saw long forgotten portraits I took of the frog. Memories of it came flooding back – before falling asleep I would hold the frog in my hand carefully, like it’s someone’s heart, wishing for the courage to do things despite the fear.

Sometimes it’s not important which way you jump, just that you jump.
